What is this guide for?
- Linux users (this guide should work on most modern Linux distributions)
- Almost any x86 hardware
- Will work for Steam and non-Steam users
- Those who have a "HOODLUM" version of the game and NOT the Steam version.

This guide will be using "Fedora KDE Plasma" Linux, but these steps should be the same on almost all Linux distributions.

Note: Where to get the "HOODLUM" version? You will need to find it yourself. HINT

If you experience issues, check THIS guide for possible solutions.

1) Get Bottles. You can use thes commands to install Bottles as a Flatpak using the Terminal. Or using your "Discover" or "Software" app.
Note: You can use a "native" package instead of a Flatpak image. 2) Get your copy of GTA:SA ISO file

3) Right click on the .ISO file and press "Mount"
4) Make sure the .ISO file is mounted
5) Start Bottles
6) Press "Create New Bottle..."
7) Give the Bottle a name, for example, "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Open Multiplayer", check "Gaming" and press "Create"
8) Wait for the app to finish and press "Close"
9) Press on the newly created entry
10) Press the "Browse" button
11) You should now have an opened folder called "drive_c"
12) Right click inside the folder create a new folder, for example, call it "gtasa_iso"
13) Open the mounted .ISO file in a different window and copy all the files inside the .ISO file
14) Paste all the files inside the "gtasa_iso" folder
15) Download SA-MP client: https://gta-multiplayer.cz/downloads/sa ... nstall.exe

16) Download open.mp launcher: https://github.com/openmultiplayer/laun ... -setup.exe

17) Copy both of the downloaded files
18) Paste both files inside the "drive_c" folder
19) In the Bottles window, scroll down and press "Settings"
20) Scroll down and change the "Windows Version" to "Windows 7", wait for it to finish and press the "<" icon
21) Press the "Dependencies" button
22) Press on "allfonts", wait for it to finish and press "Close"
23) Press on "dotnet48", wait for it to finish and press "Close"
24) Press on "webview2", wait for it to finish and press "Close"
25) Press the "<" button
26) Press "Run executable"
27) Navigate to the "gtasa_iso" folder, select "setup.exe" and press "Run"
28) Install GTA:SA as usual. Press "Next"
29) Press "Next"
30) Press "Next"
31) Press "Yes"
32) Press "Next"
33) Press "Next"
34) Press "No"
35) Press "Yes"
36) Press "Next"
37) Press "Finish"
38) Press "Browse"
39) Navigate to the "HOODLUM" folder and copy the "gta_sa.exe" file
40) Navigate to the "GTA San Andreas" folder and paste the "gta_sa.exe" file, overwrite any existing files
41) Press "Run executable"
42) Navigate to the "drive_c" folder, select the downloaded SA-MP installer file, press "Run"
43) Install SA-MP as usual. Press "Next"
44) Press "Install"
45) Press "Finish"
46) Press "Run executable..." 47) Navigate to the "drive_c" folder, select the downloaded open.mp installer file, press "Run"
48) Install open.mp as usual. Press "Next"
49) Press "Next"
50) Press "Install"
51) Press "Next"
52) IMPORTANT: Uncheck "Run Open Multiplayer launcher" and press "Finish"
53) Press "Browse"
54) Navigate to "drive_c" folder and delete the "gtasa_iso" folder as well as the two downloaded files
55) Navigate to the "GTA San Andreas" folder
56) Download ASI loader: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate- ... -Win32.zip.


57) Extract the "vorbisFile.dll" file from the downloaded ZIP file and copy it to the "GTA San Andreas" folder
58) Download Modloader: https://github.com/thelink2012/modloade ... loader.zip

59) Extract the "modloader" folder and the "modloader.asi" file from the downloaded ZIP and copy it to the "GTA San Andreas" folder
60) Download SilentPatch: https://github.com/CookiePLMonster/Sile ... atchSA.zip

61) Extract the "SilentPatchSA.asi" and "SilentPatchSA.ini" file from the downloaded ZIP and copy it to the "GTA San Andreas" folder 62) Download WIdescreenFix: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Widescree ... chived.zip

63) Extract the "GTASA.WidescreenFix" folder from the downloaded ZIP and copy it to the "modloader" folder
64) Download WidescreenFix HOR+: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Widescree ... /wshps.asi

65) Copy the downloaded "wshps.asi" file to the "modloader/GTASA.WidescreenFix" folder
66) Download Project2DFX: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/III.VC.SA ... ct2DFX.zip

67) Right click inside the "modloader" folder and create a new folder called "Project2DFX"
68) Extract all the files from the downloaded ZIP file and copy them to the "modloader/Project2DFX" folder
69) Download Ginput: http://silent.rockstarvision.com/uploads/GInputSA.zip

70) Right click inside the "modloader" folder and create a new folder called "Ginput"
71) Extract all the files from the downloaded ZIP file and copy them to the "modloader/Ginput" folder
72) Download Framerate Vigilante: https://fileservice.gtainside.com/downl ... ilante.zip


73) Extract the "FramerateVigilante" folder to the "modloader" folder
74) Download open.mp DLL: https://assets.open.mp/omp-client.dll

75) Navigate to the "drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local" folder and create a new folder called "mp.open.launcher"
75) Navigate to the "drive_c"users"steamuser/AppData/Local/mp.open.launcher" and create a new folder called " omp"
76) Copy the downloaded "omp-client.dll" file and paste it in the newly created folder
77) Navigate to the "GTA San Andreas/modloader/Project2DFX" folder and open the "III.VC.SA.LimitAdjuster.ini"
88) Change the following lines and save the file:
89) Navigate to the "GTA San Andreas/modloader/Project2DFX" folder and open the "SALodLights.ini"
90) Change the following lines and save the file: 91) In Bottles, press the tree dots next to "omp-launcher"
92) Press "Change launch options..."
93) Change the "Command Arguments" to the value below and press "Save"
94) Pess the ">" button next to "omp-launcher"

95) You might be prompted to update the mods, you can press "Download and install updates now" and then "Continue"
96) Enjoy the game!
