What is this guide for?
- Windows users (this guide should work on most Windows versions)

- Those who have a legal copy of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (Classic version), this is NOT for "HOODLUM" users
Steps
1) Open up Steam 2) Open the "LIBRARY" tab and search for "San Andreas" 3) Select the correct version (not the Definitive Edition) and press "Install" 4) Install the game on your "C:" drive and press "Install"
Note: It is not recommended to change the install destination. You can delete this game after you have finished this guide. 5) Wait for the installation to finish and you can close up Steam 6) Download SADowngrader: https://services.rockstarnexus.com/sado ... 1_Full.exe
7) Run the downloaded file 8) Press the "Extract" button 9) Right-click on the "sadowngrade1-3-1.exe" file 10) Press "Show more options" 11) Press "Properties" 12) Select the "Compatibility" tab, add a checkmark next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "Windows 7", then press "OK" 13) Run the "sadwongrade1-3-1.exe" file 14) Press "Yes" 15) Press "No" 16) Press "OK" 17) Press "OK" 18) Wait for the scan to complete and press "Downgrade" 19) Press "Yes" 20) Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games" (create the folder if it does not exist), right-click on empty space inside the window, press "New" and then "Folder" 21) Create a folder called "GTA San Andreas" and press "Select folder" 22) Press "Yes" 23) Press "Yes" 24) Wait for the downgrade to finish and press "OK" 25) Press "Exit" 26) Press "Yes, this program worked correctly" 27) Download ASI loader: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate- ... -Win32.zip
28) Extract the "vorbisFile.dll" file from the downloaded ZIP file and copy it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas" folder, replace any existing files. 29) Download Modloader: https://github.com/thelink2012/modloade ... loader.zip
30) Extract the "modloader" folder and the "modloader.asi" file from the downloaded ZIP and copy it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas" folder 31) Download SilentPatch: https://github.com/CookiePLMonster/Sile ... atchSA.zip
32) Extract the "SilentPatchSA.asi" and "SilentPatchSA.ini" file from the downloaded ZIP and copy it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas" folder 33) Download WidescreenFix: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Widescree ... chived.zip
34) Extract the "GTASA.WidescreenFix" folder from the downloaded ZIP and copy it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader" folder 35) Download WidescreenFix HOR+: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Widescree ... /wshps.asi
36) Copy the downloaded "wshps.asi" file to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader\GTASA.WidescreenFix" folder 37) Create a new folder called "Project2DFX" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader" folder (Right-click, select "New", then select "Folder") 38) Download Project2DFX: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/III.VC.SA ... ct2DFX.zip
39) Extract all the files from the downloaded ZIP file and copy them to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader\Project2DFX" folder 40) Create a new folder called "Ginput" in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader" folder (Right-click, select "New", then select "Folder") 41) Download Ginput: http://silent.rockstarvision.com/uploads/GInputSA.zip
42) Extract all the files from the downloaded ZIP file and copy them to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader\Ginput" folder 43: Download FramerateVigilante: https://fileservice.gtainside.com/downl ... ilante.zip
44) Extract the "FramerateVigilante" folder to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader" folder 45) Open the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\modloader\Project2DFX\III.VC.SA.LimitAdjuster.ini" file using Notepad or any other text editor 46) Change the following lines so they match the following settings:

66) If experience the following error, then press "Resume" 67) Run the open.mp launcher installer 68) If you get the following notification, then press on it and read the second post below 69) Press "Next" 70) Press "Next" 71) Press "Install" 72) Press "Next" 73) Press "Finish: 74) If you get the following notification, then press on it and read the second post below 75) Run open.mp launcher by double clicking the desktop icon
76) Change the nickname and press the "+" button 77) Type in the server's address and press "Add" 78) Right click on the added server and press "Connect" 79) Select the latest SA-MP version (currently it is 0.3.7-R5) and press the button 80) You will be prompted that GTA San Andreas path is not set, press the "Open Settings" button 81) Press "Browse" 82) Browse to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas" and press "Select folder" 83) Press the "X" button 84) Right click on the added server again and press "Connect" 85) It is possible you will get the following message, in such cases select "INI files: replace all and keep settings" and press "Restart this application with elevated permissions".
The single player mode will start up, but you should exit it and connect to the server using open.mp launcher again. This should not appear next time you run it.
